ABOUT THE BAND.........
The Red Oak Country Boys are a four piece band playing the best of traditional country & western music along with bluegrass and original tunes. The group performs the songs of Jimmy Rodgers, Hank Williams, Roy Acuff, Bill Monroe, Ernest Tubb, Johnny Cash, Hank Snow, Ray Price, Lefty Frizzell, Buck Owens and other greats who filled Nashville's Ryman Auditorium and set the standard for country music throughout the 1940's, 50's, and 60's. With an instrumental lineup of electric lead, Fender bass and acoustic rhythm guitars, and five-string banjo, the Red Oak Country Boys deliver the sounds that rode the late night airwaves from 50,000 watt clear channel radio stations into the homes and hearts of rural America.
